Stock allocation
Are my target weights drifting?

In the oven
Target weights against actual, with the rebalancing amounts. A separate guide covers sectors and how their returns have ranged historically.
01
How to read the result
Technical
Drift is actual weight minus target weight. The rebalance amount is drift times portfolio value.
Plain English
It shows how far each holding has wandered from your plan, and how much to move to get back.
02
A worked example
A 60/40 stock and bond plan that drifted to 70/30 after a strong year.
03
What it can't tell you
- Historical sector returns are shown as a range, never a recommended mix.
- It doesn't account for taxes or trading costs of rebalancing.
